It is fall.  Or, almost.  I am officially sleeping with the AC off and the windows wide open!  It is chilly in the mornings...perfect for coffee on my balcony.  Yes.  Finally.  Although, the days are still a bit warm.  I can't wait for fall to REALLY be here.  Anywho, it was a super long weekend, filled with a horrendously long drawing class, then an equally horrendous night at work (I was super tired), and then a bit of an awkward evening downtown for a friend's birthday.  I only got one good picture of my outfit, and one good picture of me trying not to fall off my shoes after getting ran into.  PS...silk dress on a chilly fall night is not the warmest idea.

After I made it home from the longest day EVER, I went to bed, and woke up for some coffee and work.  Ugh.  So, I decided to comfy (surprise) today, and wound up in one of my favorite dresses that just happens to be in one of my least favorite colors.  I only bought it in purple because it was the only color that came in my size, and I really like the lacey crochet part.  After work, I headed over to my faux family for some yummy homemade quesadillas and a corona.  Yum.

Shirt, nightgown from Gap; Tank, Banana Republic; Belt, Gap; Tights, F21; Boots, Vintage; Man Watch, Fossil

Today's theme was man.  Man watch.  Boyfriend shirt (actually an old nightgown from Gap Body).  Cowboy boots.  Love it.  Very comfortable for class, yet transitioned well to work.  Now, I am out for a cocktail.  Happy Friday!

Dress, Target; Scarf, necklaces, shoes, Forever 21; Belt, Gap

Today, I decided to embrace the fact that I can officially now wear sleeveless to work!  So, I pushed the boundaries a bit, and went with my new favorite dress that is raceback.  Note:  racerback is NOT pronounced razorback.  Just an FYI.  Anywho, the dress is super comfortable, and easy to accessorize!  I got more compliments today on my necklaces than I have for a long time.  I love the satisfaction of saying that I got one necklace for $4 at F21, as opposed to saying that I spent an obnoxious amount on it elsewhere.  Yay bargain!!!

Earrings, H&M; Tank, Banana Republic; Dress, Gap; Boots, vintage

Since I have class all day on Wednesday, I needed to be comfortable, yet stylish enough to go to reverse happy hour straight from class.  Whoever came up with the idea of reverse happy hour, I commend him (or her).  It is perfection.  $4 cocktails and $3 sushi rolls made my day.

The tank made the dress more appropriate for class.  Strapless isn't exactly the greatest idea when you are lugging a large bag with heavy books and a sewing bag around all day.  I'm also a bit obsessed with big earrings at the moment, and decided to add a bit of color with the hoops from H&M.  As for the boots, they are comfortable enough to wear all day walking, and I don't have to worry about destroying them.  Not to mention, the vintage look is my absolute favorite trend of the moment.
