I was bored at work today, and after freezing for a couple of hours and talking with a pal, I realized why I felt so drab. Not only was the weather dreary today, so was my outfit. I wore a black dress, black tights (quickly changed to grey sweats the minute I got home), and a big grey sweater. Nice and comfy, accessorized by a brown and black scarf and chunky chain necklace. The one thing missing??? Cute shoes. Not my warm chocolate Uggs.

I WANT NEW SHOES!!!!!!!!
It has been far too long since I have made an addition, or additions, to my shoe wardrobe, with the exception of a new pair of running shoes. Spring is right around the corner, with summer following closely behind. Now I want something that will make my feet happy and springy...and maybe a wee bit uncomfortable...
There is one pair of shoes that I am lusting after. Alas, they have disappeared off the web! I saw them in a magazine...not sure which one...I read way too many to keep track of where I saw what. I fell in love. They are Coach heels. Super strappy and super high. Snakeskin. Gold. Copper. Strappy. Heaven. Missing from my closet :( Since I can't find them, I will lust after these until I do find them!

Chinese Laundry's Bounty ($130) in brown will play the role of the obnoxiously chunky gladiator heel
BCBGMAXAZRIA's Ashlee ($250) is a fantastic nude heel that will go perfectly with all summer dresses at night
Dolce Vita's Caprice in black ($90) are an easy way to ease into the fringe fad. I'm not completely sold on fringe, but with denim shorts and a thin white tee, these would be great!

Pour La Victoire's Bethanie ($275) might have to be the replacement for the Coach shoes that I can't seem to find. I love these (almost as much).

Sam Edelman's Ianna flats ($99) in Firecracker and in Green are great for those landlocked like myself. They will go well with cute shorts or skirts when it is warm, but work during the chilly spring and summer mornings in Kansas with a pair of skinny jeans.

Wanted's Off in bronze ($50) might be my new summer staple. I need a bronze pair to go along with my silver gladiators from last summer...they will be worn every single day, until they fall apart.
